I've only played Far Cry 2, blood dragon, and about 5 hours of 3 so I'm not speaking from tons of experience. But I feel like a Far Cry set in Vietnam, WW2, the USSR, the American Civil War, or the wild west would be a lot more interesting than another Far Cry set on another tropical island/country. 5 seems to have the most interesting setting Far Cry 6. Assassins Creed is a bloated mess. So is Far Cry 6. Core gameplay for both is pretty good, graphics are great, waaaay too much redundant s*** to do. I'm pretty far into FC6 and I feel like I've seen the main villain like 5 minutes in total.
What's really worrying is almost all triple A games only use garbage SMAA, TAA or FXAA. Games such as Call of Duty WW2, Battlefield 1, F1 2017, Far Cry Primal, Far Cry 5, the list keeps going on and on. Beautiful MSAA has been abondened like a used up prostitute because there fancy rendering engines "don't support it".

The scary but brilliant struggle for survival in The Forest. The Forest is a game that is never boring. Winner – Far Cry 6. Given it mopped up most of the categories here, it should come as no surprise that Far Cry 6 is the better Ubisoft game. While it may not offer the innovation the series I highly recommend playing both but play 4 first because 6 adds multiple new mechanics that would make going back to 4 feel rough by comparison. Kyrat is still my favorite setting in any Far Cry game and some aspects it has over 6 are arena fights, more traditional outposts to take over, user made levels, snow based (definitely get the Yeti dlc Personally the ambience and environment is wayyy better in primal, the nature sounds, people running away from animals, the huts and hideouts, etc. Primal has less content than far cry 4 though. If you want a more realistic setting and actually feel like your in the game, Primal Far Cry 4 has more content, Co-op, map creator, all up to you!

Nope fc4 is better cause you can ride elephants and drive rikshaws and shoot idiots in the head while Bollywood music blasts on the radio. Opinions aren't fact. It’s personal preference. I like FC4 better than 3, but I enjoy 4’s story more than Jason’s. I feel like I have more choices and more control.
