An update on the above problem of my ’93 Mazda 6 diesel with cutting out fault and no power. The fuel injection pump has been repaired but did involve the Mazda agent sending it away for specialist repair and my being without the car for two weeks. The garage invoice says that it has been cleaned and the suction control valve replaced.
