Look for HBO Max using the search bar on the top-right corner. Click to install HBO Max from the search results. Complete Google Sign-in (if you skipped step 2) to install HBO Max. HBO MAX update. Is anyone having problems with the latest HBO Max update from April 25, 2021? Device is Apple TV HD 4. TV OS is 14.4.xxx. HBO Max was working perfectly until a few days ago, now it seems to hang (the three dots forever) and the only way to correct the problem is to restart the AppleTV.

As first spotted by Tom’s Guide, if you try to watch something in the HBO Max app on your iPhone or iPad with AirPods connected, the app will display a bizarre overlay on the video that says, “Streaming video to another display.”. Essentially, it seems like the HBO Max thinks playing audio to AirPods constitutes. It is connected to the internet and the preinstalled apps, like Netflix work. However, it will not install any apps (Spectrum, HBO MAX, HBO GO, Disney +). When I select "Install" it looks like it begins to install and displays a zero (0), like it is beginning. However it stays like that for a moment, then goes back to app info page. Apple TV and Altice App I setup my Apple TV with the Altice App. Originally I could play live TV through the Altice App but now when I click on a channel, the screen goes blank with no sound. I can only watch shows that have already started or are recorded. 7SfVr.
